Call for proposals – Innovative Projects for Civil Society and Coalition of Actors (PISCCA) “Five Eleven, Coalition for Women”
The French Embassy in Kenya is pleased to launch the second phase of the PISCCA fund (Innovative Projects for Civil Society and Coalition of Actors) entitled “Five Eleven, Coalition for Women”.
This second phase will focus on supporting women’s economic empowerment through the creation of income generating activities for vulnerable women living in-growth cities informal settlements in Kenya. This second phase of PISCCA will mainly contribute to two Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 5 on gender equality and SDG 11 on inclusive cities.
Teldet in Trans -Nzioa county, played host to our project officer who was taken through the management of a tree nursery under the Irrigation and Agriculture program in the Mount Elgon region, a project implemented by Mount Elgon Cultural Heritage Organization.

The Cooperation and Cultural Affairs Department, represented by Ms. Anne-Sophie Triboulet, our Project Officer for Development and Humanitarian Affairs, carried out the final evaluation of the PISCCA (Innovation Projects for Civil Societies and Coalitions for Actors) project “Voices of the Girls” in Kuria from the 29th to the 31st of August 2018.
