    French Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe

    From 17 May to 27 November 2019, France will hold the Chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. France’s goal as Chair is to strengthen the Council of Europe’s main acquis, established after 70 years of victories and progress, and to keep supporting societal change in Europe through unity and innovation.

    Global biodiversity report released in Paris

    The seventh session of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) Plenary will take place from 29 April to 4 May 2019 at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. At this event, IPBES will present its Global Assessment Report on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services to representatives of 130 States.

    THE OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF THE INSERVICE TRAINING CENTRE FOR TEACHERS OF FRENCH AT KENYATTA UNIVERSITY
