The Francophonie’s fortnight and the CPF events (Comité Permanent pour la Francophonie)

The CPF is a non-profit association that promotes and develops the French language and the Francophon cultures within Kenya. The funds raised by the association are aimed towards humanitarian and educational projects. The members are people from the French-speaking embassies and volunteers.
Every year in March, a lot of events that celebrate the Francophonie take place in the whole country for two weeks. Here is the press kit: link.
In 2018, more than 4700 students attended the Francophony Day, peak of the events, that took place this year the Catholic Unievrsity of Eastern Africa.

The day of the French language of the ONUN
The first edition that took place in October 2015 was a proper success. Ms Sahle-Work Zewde, CO of the ONUN, and former ambassador of Ethiopia in France for the UA helped a lot and showed a real interest.

Kenya National Drama Festival (KNDF)
Every year, France rewards the laureates of the festival organized by the Kenyan ministry of education. French is the only foreign language represented during the contest.
