The most impressive event was the Francophonie day which gathered, this year, 4,200 students from all over the country at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies. This day is the only event during the Fortnight that gather such a number of Kenyan students to celebrate Franophonie in their country.

A hundred of schools made the trips to the event. 27 booths were showcasing francophone Embassies, French companies, Kenyan universities, the Alliance française of Nairobi, the French school, Campus France, or the French research institutes in Kenya.

It was also the occasion for a dozen French higher education institutions to introduce their programmes to the High school students.

Some twenty schools participated in the "parcours de la Francophonie", a game specifically designed for the occasion.

During the Day, afrancophone Webradio was launched, as the students from the French school conducted interviews.
