Representation from the embassy at the 35th KAGUMO TTC graduation ceremony on 8/11 [fr]
Linguistic and educational cooperation team at the French Embassy in Nairobi was on a visit to Kagumo Teacher Training College last Friday for the graduation of this year’s laureates.
This institution contributes to the training of qualified teachers in science, languages and humanities for secondary schools in Kenya. There are many teacher training colleges (TTC) in Kenya. All TTC in Kenya offer the same exam, which is supervised by the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC).
In Kagumo, some of these future teachers are destined to teach French. Complete teaching kits, for all levels, in French as a foreign language (FLE) on school objectives and specific objectives have been given to these future French teachers in Kenya. The links forged between our institutions make it possible to pursue the objectives of bilateral cooperation in the field of linguistics and to promote these aspiring secondary school French teachers in their objectives: to become competent, innovative and self-taught teachers.
