Courtesy call by the Commander of French Forces in Djibouti to the Vice-Chief of KDF [fr]

Air Force Major General Stéphane Dupont, Commander of the French Forces stationed in Djibouti (COMFOR FFDj) travelled to Kenya from 27 to 28 September 2021.

This trip was an opportunity for COMFOR to meet with the Vice Chief of Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Ogolla, with the Assistant Chief of Defence Forces for Operations, Training, Doctrine and Planning, Major General Muteti, and then with the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Koipaton.

These meetings allowed for an assessment of the bilateral defence relationship, to identify areas for improvement in military cooperation and finally, to discuss the regional situation.
