English Language Teaching Assistants Program in France: 2023-2024
The application campaign for the 2024-2025 school year is open!
The Language Assistant Programme offers you the opportunity to teach English in France for 7 months, to students of all ages. Each year, about 100 positions are offered to Kenyan students to teach in public schools in all regions of France and in the French Overseas Departments (Guyana, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Réunion). -

Official launch of the twentieth resources center “Honoré de Balzac” at Pwani University
On the 24th November 2022, the Attaché for French, Mr. Bernard Clouteau, had the pleasure to officially launch the Kenyan resources center for French at Pwani University in Kilifi. This center is the last to be launched among the twenty existing ones.

Handover of a Quality Certification in French as a Foreign Language to 4 schools of FLAAP network
Following the first ceremonies in May and June 2022 in Nairobi and Mombasa, the new Attaché for French and the Officer for Education and French toured partner schools from French Language As A Priority (FLAAP) network in the Western part of Kenya. The French Embassy in Kenya had the pleasure to handover a Quality Certification in French as a Foreign Language to four schools for their commitment to promote French.

Handover of a Quality Certification in French as a Foreign Language to 5 schools of FLAAP network
The French Embassy in Kenya had the pleasure to handover a Quality Certification in French as a Foreign Language to 5 schools part of the French Language As A Priority (FLAAP) network. Those schools, with two to three French teachers, excel at promoting French language, with DELF/DALF certifications for teachers and students, a strong participation to the network activities and regular events (French Day, visits of Alliances Françaises, promotion of further studies in France, etc.).
