Are you a Kenyan French student and would like to become an English Language Assistant in France for 7 months? We are delighted to announce that Kenya is the first country in the Sub-Saharan region (after South Africa) to join the English teaching assistants programme, from the French Ministry of Education.
The Alliance Française of Nairobi played host to a press conference on the Francophonie events slated for the month of November.
On the initiative of Kenyatta University and with the support of the French embassy in Kenya and of the Kenyan ministry of education, a training center was set up and a first training was organized at the same time from the 20th to the 24th of August for 45 teachers of secondary.
The CPF is a non-lucrative association that aims to promote the French language and the Francophone cultures. Led by people from embassies members of the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF), the CPF organizes different events during the year, in particular the Francophonie Bal and the Day of Francophonie (more than 4000 people in 2018).
