Linguistic cooperation between the Kenyan and French Marines [fr]

Lt. Col. Marc DE BLOCK was received on February 7, 2022 by Brigadier General Gituma, Deputy Chief of the Navy, and Colonel Mohammed, Director of the Naval Academy, in the company of the Director of AF Mombasa.

The meeting allowed a fruitful exchange on the cooperation between the French and Kenyan Marines.

At the end of the meeting, the Defence Attaché and the Director of the AF opened the new French A1 and later A2 course for 14 Navy personnel.

The inauguration of a space dedicated to the French language within the library of the Naval Academy concluded this morning; more than a hundred educational and reading books were handed over thanks to the financial support of the DCSD and to donations made by the Ouest France publishing house and the Le FAILLER bookshop in Rennes.
